I was diagnosed with a very aggressive prostate cancer in mid-December 2018. I was referred to Dr. Ruff for a consultation regarding the removal surgery. Once I met with him I didn't hesitate to have it removed as soon as possible. It was the best decision I could have ever made. I've recently completed 8 weeks of daily radiation therapy and what I anticipated to be a horrible experience was the complete opposite. Dr. Ruff and the entire staff at Urology Austin are great and provide exceptional patient service. Words cannot express my gratitude.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in mid January of last year. My urologist set me up with a well respected surgeon for prostate removal but due to no one's fault I could not even get in for a consult until late March and didnt know how far out my surgery would be scheduled. Being uncomfortable waiting that long I researched other surgeons. Because of positive reviews and the experience he had I contacted Dr. Ruff. He offered to consult with me that same week and scheduled my surgery soon after. My surgery went very well and I made a remarkable recovery. I suffered virtually no incontinence. I went in for the 3 month check up and my PSA was undetectable. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ruff and would certainly recommend anyone who has urology issues to consider him for treatment.
