Wish I could give negative stars. He was recommended by my interior decorator to recover a much loved leather chair. He was stringing me along since the end of summer -- forgot my phone number, was out here in the area but had the wrong phone number, and then finally at the end of November blew me off. Unprofessional, not responsive, unethical seem to be good words for him.

I could not be happier with the workmanship of Dave and his staff at Rivertown interiors. These chairs are about 15 years old and had been reupholstered once before. We decided to go with leather this time (teal). He explained the cost difference and the benefits of using/buying fabric versus leather hides, which was very helpful. We highly recommend and will definitely use him in the future for his professionalism and craftsmanship.

Dave Spitz is a treasure, not commonly found. He is detailed and thorough. I could not be more pleased. You might pay less but you may have "less" of an outcome! Don't do it!
