Had an incredible experience here today, cant thank yall enough for the amazing customer service and extra special shout out to Mr. Rudy Gonzales for going above and beyond to help me out. He was so patient and kind and really took his time to explain everything in detail so that I could understand. He helped me resolve all of my concerns. Receiving this level of care truly made my day :)

I mailed 3 checks for my properties end of Dec. I then checked with Travis county mid-Jan and they said they only got one check and 2 checks are probably lost and advise me to put a stop check on the other 2. I put in a stop check on the other 2 with my bank. I then checked with Travis County a few days later and they said all the taxes for 3 properties have been paid and gave me receipts.In Feb, they send me delinquent tax on 2 properties. I had to pay a fine of over  $1500.I find it highly unjust that because of incompetence of Travis County I have to suffer. Highly recommend not mailing checks to Travis county they have a huge backlog and prone to losing checks and also applying checks to the wrong accounts.

Great place to experience the 1990's! Come sit for an unpredictable amount of time while you try to guess when your turn might be up! Prefer to wait while someone types your form into a web site instead of doing it from your couch? Think a piece of tree pulp with a squiggle made with a sharpie is more secure than an inspection report transmitted from the inspectors computer? This place is for you!
While many states have done a way with these experiences in the name of "efficiency", TX still offers it. But don't delay, even TX may be forced to modernize in the next 40-50 years. Like with most museums, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

They work super slow. Out of more than 20 stations only 2 or 3 of them calling name others either empty or busy doing nothing. 4 hour wait for a registration renewal is ridiculous AF.
