I was a client for several years and was surprised to read a negative review for Mark White. He is a very kind and caring professional who I highly recommend.

I was a longtime patient of Mark. He was recommended to me by a family friend who had heard great things. In my experience he was a consummate professional, always offering insightful commentary, very empathetic, and I found his open and honest communication valuable. Some background info: I saw him over the course of a few years when I was going through a few rough patches in my young adulthood (without giving up too much personal info), and I can't recommend him enough. Without him I wouldn't be where I am today.

After having a fair amount of experience with various therapist in the Austin area, both for myself and for my son, I can NOT recommend Mark White. He does not provide a safe and supporting environment in which to share your thoughts. He humiliated me, and even publicly humiliated me in front of my ex-wife and fiance, while taking no accountability for his actions when confronted. He doesn't like to be challenged or confronted. I had a VERY poor experience. If you're seeking a therapist for your child there are much better ones out there.

I've been one of Mark's clients for years both in an individual and couples environment and I have nothing but the highest praise for him. He has helped me through some major personal and professional crises. His intelligence is beyond compare as is the breadth and scope of his knowledge of literature, religion, history, and film. I've never had a reference get by him. And he can make damned fine Lego sculptures.
