Specialty Clinic of Austin

This is the single most unprofessional doctor’s office. Be prepared for the monthly obstacle course that is trying to get your medication refilled. Everyone quits working here or doesn’t show up, thus the patients are forgotten about and the phone is oftentimes unanswered for days on end. I’ve lost count of the number of times my refills aren’t ready and my body suffers due to the office’s gross negligence. Furthermore they try to impose rules/regulations that no other office does, just in an effort to nickel and dime patients. They are so disorganized that the front office actually lost my new patient paperwork when I first started seeking their care. Lastly, the office workers are very rude and short. They do not care if you’re suffering without med refills. After two years of this unprofessional nonsense, I will need to seek out a new provider. Highly recommend finding an office capable of offering standard patient care.

I got there at 1pm for my appointment. I thought there Lunch hour was 12-1, but it’s 1-2. The young lady at the front desk kindly assisted us and met all our needs. Highly recommend south side location. These are the people that make a big difference. Thank you kindly 👍🙂

I attended Specialty Clinic of Austin for a little over a year and was generally pleased with the service and genuinely loved by psychiatrist... until they essentially ghosted me. She left the practice and they legit never even notified me and just set me up with some new male doctor. I found out when I joined my scheduled video appointment and was face to face with a stranger. I can't imagine this happening to another patient dealing with even more complex trauma than myself. Now I'm off searching for a new psychiatrist. VERY unprofessional.
