I can't recommend Brandon from ACES enough. Our story: We hired a babysitter to watch our kids to go to date night and she ended up stealing one of my wife's handbags. We called her the very next morning asking if she'd seen it, and she casually said no. We knew there was no other way it could be gone and started looking for options. Called the cops and they said that a detective will be assigned to the case and they'd call in the next few days - basically a "sorry we've got bigger fish to fry". It's then that I started calling private investigation outfits. The first couple I called were national phone switch boards who were routing calls to someone local, which didn't instill any confidence. I finally called ACES and spoke to Mr Henry Mota, who's apparently the owner, and he advised me that time is of the essence with these types of things and that the sooner we got surveillance going, the better the chances. I decided to move forward and within minutes they spun up a plan and Brandon was assigned to the job and he texted me that he'd found her address and was on his way to surveil her. Brandon was ultra-professional from the beginning, giving us text updates on what he was doing and seeing. The first day was uneventful and he didn't see anything. The second day, he spotted the babysitter walking her dog. He called me, we put a plan in place to confront her vs. just surveilling her in the hopes she'd emerge with the hand bag. He confronted her and I don't know what he said, but next thing, she asked him to follow her to her car and he was able to secure the handbag. Later found out he gave her a stern talk about how her life was going to be hard and he was going to investigate everything about her, her past jobs etc., and other things along those lines. Brandon is amazing, he's an ex-soldier, tough but with a smoothness about him that can make him easy to work and get along with, but as I can only imagine, formidable to deal with when on his wrong side. He's now a member of the family, we'll have him at our house warming and other events. Needless to say, he'll be the first one we call should anything else go off track in our lives!
