My son had an ingrown toenail, and it was getting worse. When we went to see Dr. Thomajan, it was swollen and painful. I had no idea how they could solve the issue without causing him more pain, but Dr. Thomajan was fantastic! My son did not feel anything; we were out within 30 minutes, and it healed beautifully. Thank you!!

I had a plantar plate surgery with Dr. Thomajan in 2020 and don't think I will ever never recover from that surgery. I developed Morton's Neuroma after and have had issues walking since. I've never been the same. It's been a horrible last few years dealing with the pain and it's been getting worse. After another surgery with a different doctor(not here) to try and repair it, I am now dealing with a stress fracture and I can't feel my third toe. I say all this to warn people with the lasting effects of surgery. It's SO BAD. Before you ever think about doing surgery, you should get several opinions. I regret not getting more. This is a serious surgery although some of these doctors act like they do it all the time and it's no big deal. I'll never be able to wear heels or any shoe I used to wear ever again. I do not recommend this office or the PT a place next door. They had no experience and were trying to make me jump up and down and do all these exercises that I know made it worse when I was still extremely swollen. I had to stop PT within 2 weeks. Awful experience. I'm not sure why doctors don't bring up stem cell injections or PRP but worth looking into alternative options or another doctor if you are considering surgery. Make sure to wear the right shoes when you're going to be walking, standing, running for extended periods of time. I wish I could go back and start over. Good luck!!!

The office manager, Jen, went above and beyond to straighten out a mistake on my insurance company's part. My insurance company kept telling me Dr. Thomajan was not in network, but Jen asked to be on a 3-way call with myself and my insurance company and proved that Dr. Thomajan IS in network- thank you Jen! Update: My local foot/ankle doctor highly recommended Dr. Thomajan for my tarsal tunnel pain after I went to PT for 2+ years with no lasting results. Dr Thomajan demonstrated strong expertise via conversation and clinical observation skills. He surgically released my tarsal tunnel nerve and my pain went away during recovery. I am almost one year out from surgery, swollen in my foot/ankle from pregnancy, and still no tarsal tunnel pain. I highly recommend Dr Thomajan- he went above and beyond to listen to my many questions and was very respectful of my travel time when coordinating appointments and surgery (3-4 hrs one way). Most importantly, this is a doctor who cares about getting his patients better and solving the complex problems with the most knowledgeable, skillful method available. He clearly loves and cares about his work, challenges, and doing the best job possible.
