Do not use this contractor. We awarded a LARGE contract and the company was nothing but trouble. 2 years after completion, we continue to make dozens of repairs to resolve issues because this crew took so many shortcuts. This one though--it takes the cake. This team ran electrical cords under our wooden door and bent the top hinge. In making the repairs (4 ATTEMPTS mind you), they replaced the screws and supposedly repaired the damaged hinge. Today I had a different company come out because our attempts to make the door work failed.
We never removed the screws to see that they used miscellaneous drywall screws to do the repairs instead of wood screws. The also tightened the jam causing the jam screws to bulge out on the side of the latch as an adjustment.
The missed paint, the drips in paint and varnish on every cabinet they painted or varnished, the interior doors that will not latch, the recessed lighting with gaps at ceiling junction because dry wall was not cut precisely, gaps at drywall junction for most outlets and switch boxes, missing caulk on the top of each door trim and the side the supervisor was not likely to look at, nails falling out of faschia because they didn't use the right screws or missed the studs.
