I had 2 discs replaced with Dr. Dryer after suffering from chronic headaches for 7 months. Tough surgery and uncomfortable recovery and I am thankful for Dr Dryer and his team for getting me back to full health.

Had a 3 level fusion in my lumbar. Had done months of PT as well as 2 different epidural steroid injections. Surgery was the last option but it was absolutely necessary. I'm a week out of surgery and even from the pain from that my pain relief is incredible. If you want the best surgeon go to Dryer.

Back pain got you wrecked? Injections and PT not working? Pain management docs unable to get these "less invasive" things approved by insurance, and having entire medical staffs saying...don't get a fusion... you're too young... Fire them all. You're just being monetized. They do work towards a patient driven outcome.
Dr Dryer and his ENTIRE staff absolutely changed my life. I'd been dealing with chronic 10+ can't work can't sleep pain for nearly 2 years and 4 doctors, PT, 6+ injections, 100 lbs lost, massive gains in yoga.
His rockstar of a PA had me diagnosed on the nose in minutes. Dr Dryer confirmed moments later. They knew EXACTLY how the process was going to go. Even that I may get denied but Dr Dryer quite stellar at getting these things approved. They denied me the Friday before my surgery. Monday he had a call, and I went under the knife Tuesday.
I woke up from surgery and the ever present radiating sciatic pain was completely gone. Replaced with surgery pain but at least you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that it is temporary.
Recovery was hard. Having an intermediate yoga base made things 200% more manageable being able to properly squat without bending, as well as knowing how to engage the core to protect the back.
The entire staff here was amazing. From the front desk to their coordinator. I wish I was better at names as I'd call them out here but I'm terrible with them. So thank you to the ENTIRE STAFF, and to Dr Dryer for being such an absolute super hero. He's basically Batman with all the extra tools and tech he has designed over the years all with the intent of having a better patient driven outcome like less pain from the surgery and faster recovery, and all the things to prevent potential mistakes during.
The surgery center felt more like a fancy hotel than a hospital. And even the person working the front desk there was an absolute pleasure to interact with.
For reference I'm 41 and overweight. Dr Dryer was also the first Dr to actually acknowledge my issue was more than my weight. In fact through this process I had 2 separate surgeons deny referrals based on BMI alone.
Cheers central Texas Spine institute. Y'all are doing this right, and that is rare.
