Pros: Rebecca Turbeville and Michelle Kangas were very kind, friendly, excited and optimistic about working with us and updating our space. Communication in the beginning was not an issue. They helped us choose a paint color, new flooring, and gave layout ideas for an updated bathroom and kitchen. They have beautiful taste and a good sense of design. They worked hard to complete our project within our timeframe (which included bidding out work, and coordinating schedules with crews to perform the work). A+!
Cons: Communication became an issue near the tail end of the project. They were hard to reach, and gave us conflicting information through email. When a problem in the project was brought up, they danced around the issue (trying to blame it on bad photos/lighting/us) instead of resolving the concern with us. They ultimately did FIX the issue (but still denied that original issue existed).
Final Rating: Their design work deserves 5 stars. The way they addressed the problem (mentioned above) deserves a negative number...so I gave them 2-stars. HOWEVER, this is just our experience. I think they are new to offering their services to clients outside of close friends or family.
After our project was completed (and our space looks beautiful), I sent them an email on specific things that they could have done to address our issue (instead of escalating it), and to have avoided the situation all together. IF THEY TAKE THAT INFORMATION and apply it to their business, then they will be GOLDEN to work with. If they do that, and are transparent in their design choices and work, then I WILL recommend you give them a call and use their services. I haven't heard back from them, but would be happy to update this review if we work together again.
