Very disappointed in this company and how I have been treated. Dan and Amanda Rollins hired me to clean one of their clients homes they just remodeled in Bee Caves, TX. I arrive at 2pm and to start work and met with Mr. Rollins as well as the painting contractors that were already there. Home was larger than stated (Mrs. Rollins stated it was 3,000 sq ft however it is almost 3,400 sq ft) and the painters were still inside painting the home. I charge by square footage, not by the hour. I was given a tour of the home by Mr. Rollins showing me what needed to be done which was different than what Mrs. Rollins had stated. All work was completed within four hours and the last 30 minutes of my work everyone had left including the other contractors and Mr. Rollins. No word was spoken and no payment was made. I received an email from Mrs.Rollins stating they had to attend their sons football banquet from 6 to 8pm and they could meet me at the house that evening or the next day. I stated that I did not reside in that area (45 min away) and I could not come back and payment needed to be made at time of service as stated in our emails. That I specifically had told her prior to my arrival that I needed payment in cash and any cleanings after I would accept check. So therefore, I told her I could meet at the house at 8pm. Work was done at 6pm. They never showed nor called me or even answered my phone calls, emails, or text in regards to their arrival. I waited till 8:45 and still no word. I finally get a call at 9:02pm after I had to leave a stern message about theft of service and how I was going to pursue further action. Mr. Rollins states that he could meet me the next day mid morning to give my check and how he wanted to check the house first. Of course, this is how thieves work, I have seen it before, as my husband is in Law Enforcement. So, the next day arrives and yes! They indeed found many things that went wrong. May I remind you that I was working in a construction site with painters painting and dust galore! Also, home was left unlocked and someone had been sleeping there previously. I cleaned the home just like a housekeeper would clean however they expected me to also remove paint from the floors and kitchen sink in which was not a part of my job description. However, out of the kindness of my heart I did scrap up a lot of the paint on the floors upstairs as well as most of the kitchen sink which was FILLED with paint! They also wanted me to peel off drywall from the fireplace and clean up the mess from the construction company in the kitchen! None of this was asked of me prior in which I would have said no since I do not clean up after construction crews, I only clean homes! Our email previously did not state any of these requests, only to clean up dust per Mrs. Amanda Rollins. Mr. Rollins then responded back to wanting to pay me less than HALF of my fee which I am appalled at! I have been in the cleaning industry for over 20 years with superb references. Please be careful with this company! I am a Christian woman and mother and love what I do. It is people like this make me have to accept payment up front before starting any work. If the Rollins pay my offer I have given them for my services at their clients homes, I will update this review. Otherwise, I have not heard from anyone and will pursue further action, as this is definitely a theft of service.
