Nau's Enfield Drug

This is ultimately a sad story and one of gross neglect.  I had been going to Nau's for several years to get prescriptions filled and to have a burger, fries and a shake every once in a while.  Old time drug store and soda fountain feel with a lot of nostalgia.  When the diner portion closed for dubious reasons it was downhill from there.  The interior was neglected with tables, chairs and "stuff" strewn all over the place.  It looked like a tornado had come through and stayed this way for years.  I hated going in there because of the utter mess.  Who runs a business this way?  The pharmacists were burdened with old software and the order and refill process was cumbersome.  There was absolutely no effort to keep the place presentable so, alas, it went out of business.  The owner may be delusional in blaming other factors, but the fact is that it was neglect that doomed Nau's.

This establishment is closed. It was once A really fun drugstore soda fountain.  But it is closing. And the restaurant has not been open in a long time

had many a lunches there over the years, can't say anything for the last few though COVID and all, but stopped by Thursday as I'd heard they'd re-opened. The building has been sold, they've lost their lease, the fountain itself has been taken down.

This place never opens on time number Ive times Ive driven there at 10:30 and sat there until 11. People are nice there tho
