I needed a remnant for a small bathroom project. They gave me excellent service and treated my small project like it was a large one.

Contacted this company numerous times to find a piece to match my kitchen. Spoke to Christy. I sent her pics and measurements of the piece I needed. I had to keep making up follow up calls to her. Last I heard she was going to go out back and look at the piece they had. That was 2 weeks ago. Customer service is non existent.

I'd like to say decent things about this vendor - local, family owned - it would be nice to be able to support that type of business.  I've never had such horrible customer service with any home service company in my life.  And, I've worked with several. The office is run by the owners daughter - it's been difficult to get a freakin' receipt from this place!  We flip houses, we rent houses, we need receipts for the work we have done for tax purposes.  I've called no less than SEVEN times asking for a receipt for one job, nothing. It's been over 2 months.  I mean really people? I was likely the easiest customer ever. Remnant piece, cut holes for drop in sinks, measured in 10 minutes, installed in 30 minutes. The guys that actually did the work were nice and efficient (very pleased with their work). Not sure why the owner is going to jeopardize his family owned business by having his inefficient, disorganized, bubble headed daughter create such a poor business environment for him. If you need counter tops, take your business elsewhere. Anyone other granite yard could better communicate, schedule, follow up and ensure customer satisfaction better than this place. Meh.

Nice Granite Yard i was looking for a pice of granite to match an existing countertop and the owner personally showed me the granite and help the employee to load it up. Definitely I will come back.

I like this place because they have a large inventory of remnant granite, marble, and travertine pieces.  A lot of places only sell slabs or have a minimum sq ft requirement.  Southwest Marble & Granite doesn't, which makes them very accommodating to all sizes of projects--even a small bathroom vanity.  I also like the fact they insist on using mechanical fastening system for undermount sinks.  A lot of installers just glue a undermount to the countertop which will eventually delaminate.
