Arbor Mutual Wealth Management

So we signed up for a presentation dinner and were late so we were asked to leave by a restaurant manager. I spoke with their Director of "Client Relations" about it this morning. She gave me a list of reasons why they do that, and stated that the restaurant knows this. I informed her that this "policy" is not stated anywhere in her email. It merely reads: we recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes early. If we knew they would turn us away after a certain time (15 minutes into the presentation) we never would have driven in the rain several miles to get there. I listened to her, but when it was my turn to talk, I started to let her know this was nowhere in the email. After that, she spoke over me. I asked who was her manager. She gave me her title instead. I told her that if we had gotten into a car accident on the way home, they could have been sued. She wouldn't give me the name or email contact of the owner until then. She did have the nerve to try and tell me that wasn't a basis for a lawsuit. If you're trying to grow your business, and you make a mistake, don't be jerks about it. She wouldn't listen, she got defensive, and she talked over me when she should have apologized. We've been to these once before and never had a problem. I'm always suspicious when I see several five-star reviews with general info and a one-star review with detailed description. After reading that one-star review on how they treat people I guess this isn't a one-time thing; it's the way they are. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.

I am bewildered by a negative review of Nathan Fort and his team. They are nothing but attentive, sensitive, caring and professional plus dedicated to helping clients manage their finances to the clients benefit. This team catches little errors and corrects them long before it is too late. When I say catches errors, I mean errors others have made in getting the correct information. I applaud them for their service and would highly recommend them. I don’t believe on following “ hear say” or what L read about someone unless I personally experience it first hand. I judge only on what I can attest to, so a negative review to me is only that, one person’s negative opinion.
