Sweet Vida Medical Center

I like the PAs at this place as people but they always seem rushed. Everytime I call I'm immediately put on hold for 5 to 10min and trying to book an appt is going to be 1 to 2 weeks out. I finally switched over to zocdoc which is much better. I didn't give 1 star just because the PA Ernie is a good guy.

I’ve been waiting on them to fax papers for my disability claim and they can’t even do that. I have bill’s pilling up and they can’t even send a fax. And when I call I always get a two different time frames. And the girls up front always complaining about have to do their job. Won’t be going back to this place

I've never had any issues with Dr. Alamia's office until recently. When attempting to explain an issue to Melinda, the office manager, I was interrupted, put on hold, hung up on, and condescended to, multiple times. The issue mind you, was only a clarification I needed with regards to a prior authorization. I explained that I was trying to do everything I could to avoid not being able to fulfill a prescription for my asthma rescue inhaler as soon as I was able to procure more refills. I've been a patient for years, but sadly I won't be returning. This is not a way to treat your patients, even if it was only the front end that chose to be so inconsiderate and unhelpful. If you choose to go to Sweet Vida, I sincerely hope you don't have the experience I just did.

I tried calling repeatedly only to be disconnected several attempts. When i did get an answer i was put on hold before i could even speak and then hung up on. They scheduled me for 230 and here it is 315. Ppl that came in after me are all coming and going as i sit sick spreading this illness in the waiting room. What is the point in an appt if they cant hold it. If i wanted to sit uncomfortable in a waiting room i wouldve gone to an urgent care. Atleast i wouldve been seen sooner.

I have been coming here for some time now. I love Dr.Alamia and the staff who works for him. Very very sweet staff and his PA's Ernie and Martha. I Finally got to meet Martha Lubars. very very sweet lady. Went in for an eye Infection this pass week and tuke the time to take care of me on one of her busy days. Thank you very much again Martha and yes Ernie too. Very sweet man. They make you feel welcome and they treat you like family there. Thank you again... from the bottom of my heart for that you do. F.Rodriguez....
