I see a lot of reviews that say that it's some great donuts and kolaches. I got a donut, some small pigs in a blanket, and a breakfast croissant sandwich before 6 am. The sandwich had moist bread, sour tasting lunchmeat, and an extremely thin layer of egg white that was stiff, like it was cooked a while ago. The pigs in a blanket had hard sausages, chewy bread, and were extremely bread-y in terms of ratio of bread to sausage. The donut was a chocolate cake donut, which tastes like, oddly, nothing. Even the sugar glaze is somehow less sweet than you would expect. All in all, extremely disappointed in my visit. The owner is a lovely and sweet lady, and hopefully I just got a bad batch.

I have mixed feelings. I ordered this on doordash, and it was good value for the amount of food I got, so I was excited! but upon arrival, I found a few things: my kolaches had cheese when I ordered them with none, and the orange juice on the menu was actually Sunny D. I would be way more upset about this if I didnt like sunny D, but I also wouldnt have ordered it if I knew because we already have Sunny D at home for the kids. The donuts were tasty though, and so was the breakfast taco, which was made correctly (even though for some reason it was the size of a flauta. I expected taco size). Overall an interesting experience, maybe go order in person before you commit to Nstar Donuts so you know what youre getting. Good value for what it is.
