Dr. Yoo was my OB for my 2nd pregnancy. She answered all of my questions, was straightforward with her professional opinions, and listened to my concerns and helped me feel comfortable and confident in our decisions throughout the pregnancy. The office itself does get busy so appointments do tend to be re-scheduled but I have had this happen with many doctors, not just this practice.

I should have switched doctors. Dr Yoo was very rushed with me in my appointments, didn’t actually monitor my pregnancy, and accidentally induced me at 36 weeks instead of 38 weeks. My baby was premature and now has developmental delays because she passed the buck off to my gestational diabetes doctor and never even had me do an ultrasound in her office. Three days before my scheduled induction, my GD doctor calculated my baby’s weight at just over 5 pounds. She should have cancelled the induction but didn’t. I should’ve listened to my gut but didn’t because I didn’t think a doctor could be so careless.

Apparently she either likes you or she doesn’t. It’s painful, especially when you get the bill.

I wish I had looked up reviews prior to booking with sonja. She was with me for 3 minutes. One minute was spent telling me how behind on time she was. The second minute she spent on breast exam. The third minute was a pap followed by exit instructions.
I want to be compassionate towards doctors who are overworked, however — as a patient who will see the bill, and who has many questions about her own body, I am extremely disappointed. The only helpful thing about today’s appointment was that I now know where I WONT be going for future exams.
It seems to me Dr. Yoo needs a vacation, or to re-find the reason she initially got into this practice. Or both.
Do yourself a favor, and find another OB.
