Laurie Ellington, Poly-Coach

Laurie has the exceptional gift of cutting through "the noise" that can prevent partners from really hearing each other. In my worst, most fearful moments...when I'm escalated and feeling panicked because I want to reach my partner and I want him to reach me but our disagreements are creating a void, Laurie helps us find our way back to each other. She is direct and firm in her resolve to facilitate a safe space yet full of compassion and tenderness. I have a beautiful marriage...and I want to keep it that way, so I'll keep coming back to Laurie for more tools, greater clarity, and deeper work.

Laurie is easy to engage with and loves delving into the complexities and desires of human relationships. I have had a few informal sessions with her and came away having felt related to and understood. She loves what she does, practices it herself, and is an authentic voice for possibility.

I learned of Laurie and her relationship coaching through a mutual friend. At the time, I was having some relationship issues that I needed some perspective on. Laurie's ability to listen and gather all of our information was impressive. She really heard us and repeated everything back so she really understood our situation. She asked me questions, she asked my girlfriend questions and she asked us questions. I found myself going through some rough emotions. Her understanding and her confirmation that what I was feeling was totally normal was reassuring. Her advice was sound, logical and intelligent. Our session with Laurie helped both me and my girlfriend connect to each other more. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their relationships!
