Two years after Red River Restorations completely restored our windows and screens in a 1925 Hyde Park home, all the windows still work perfectly. Some of them I can raise with one finger. One window wasn't a double hung but instead is a pocket window going up into the wall. That one works perfectly too. I can't tell you how happy I am on these late spring days to have all the windows open, the ceiling fans gently stiring the air, and an attic fan pulling in the sweet fresh air. That is all the pleasure. Now the economics. These last two winters our heating expenses are less. Our summer cooling expenses are less. Why?
