Ann's Kitchen Cakes

Ann's Kitchen Cakes has been a family favorite for many years, so it seemed only right to get our wedding cake from her. As always, it did not disappoint! We went with the classic amaretto buttercream, white cake, and raspberry filling. Thankfully, our planner boxed up a large slice for my partner and I to take home, or else every crumb would have been devoured!

I want to start this review off by say Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!! It was my oldest daughters birthday and she was turning 30. That is a big deal so i wanted to get her a very big deal kinda cake. I searched all over Austin for bakeries and even emailed a few with no responses. I finally found Ann's Kitchen, which is literally right around the corner from my house. I am extremely happy that I walked into their bakery. First off it smells so good as you walk in. Second the greeting I received was warm and welcoming. After I explained what I was looking for and how I wanted my daughters cake they said ok and that was that. When my daughter went to pick up her cake she was so happy and excited about how it came out that she got very emotional and started crying. It was happy tears of course. The cake came out better than I expected and the taste was amazing. What I ordered was a vanilla cake with strawberry filling. And silver glitter all over the cake. Our guests loved every crumb. I never give out 5 stars but in this case Ann's Kitchen you deserve it. If I could give you 10 stars I would. Thank you again for the beautiful cake. And I would highly recommend ordering from them.

LOVE their cakes. They are very moist, cream cheese icing actually tastes like cream cheese. My favorite is the chocolate and cream cheese flavor. My husband loves the Italian cream. Definitely one of the best cakes I have tasted in Austin.
