Barton Hills Assisted Living

This USED to be a wonderful place, but it has gotten so disgraceful. The caregivers do truly love the residents 100%.  They do what they can to give the residents a loving warm place to live. It's like they are caring for their own mother or father. Management however..... They just want the money. What you see and hear during a tour is just a cover up to get your check. While I was working there, majority of the dinners each night is just a crappy soup from a can and a sandwich. The head chef who works most mornings does all he can to make a delicious meal for the residents, but there is only so much he can do when the owners give him such a small budget when ordering food. When I was last working there, we did not have a nurse. It's actually been a LONG time since they had one. It is not the worst place for your loved one to be, like I said the caregivers actually do enjoy their job. But don't expect nutritious meals, a nurse onsite, or anything really nice.

The people make the place!  They are so friendly and obviously caring.  My mom goes to their day program.  They are flexible and welcoming... love this place.  The setting is homey not fancy, but the staff make it fabulous.

We love this place! We had my father in law and now my mother at this facility. It is clean, well taken care of and the staff is caring. The facility is well managed and is family oriented. If you want a place where you can have peace of mind because your loved one will be well taken care of, this is the place. I love the fact that I am treated as family and I can come and go as I please. The response to any issue is taken care of immediately and I dont have to worry. Peace of mind is priceless!
