Look elsewhere for your remodeling needs. I used J & J Construction to get a bid for my client's business over a year ago but they decided to go in a different direction. I reached back out last week to give J & J Construction the opportunity to bid a job on my personal home this time. He didn't respond to my original text, which I should have taken as a red flag. I called that same night, spoke with him, and he ended up coming out the next morning to look at the job. He arrived on time and seemed to listen to what I wanted to do. He said it would be easy to quote and that he would send me the quote that same day. I never heard back from him, so I followed back up with him the next day (Friday) and asked for the bid again... and again, got no response. I gave him the benefit of the doubt of being busy and waited all weekend to hear from him. Still nothing. I had another construction team give me a bid on Monday. At that time, I called Jason (the owner) and it rang once and he sent me to voicemail. I sent another text (and my last) and asked for him to let me know if he no longer wanted the work and how I've been waiting on him since the following Thursday. As I'm sure you can tell by this review, I still have not heard from him. I would urge you to go in a different direction if at all possible. I thought I would have a better chance of hearing from him considering I've recommended him to clients a few times, but he doesn't seem to care about personal relationships made or people in the same industry. Communication is extremely important, considering you're putting your home in the hands of strangers, and J and J Construction clearly doesn't care.
