Pathways Counseling

I’ve been seeing Susan on and off for over 2 years for trauma. She’s amazing, compassionate and highly educated. I’ve had great (and quick) results from her EMDR therapy. I highly recommend Pathways.

Nightmares, shame, anxiety, and absolutely not coping is how I came to Susan. With her advanced approach to therapy using EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), safe and clean environment, and calm demeanor allowed me to target trigger memories and peel each layer to my onion and heal from the inside out. Much different that traditional talk therapy, EMDR targets the feelings within and allows the brain to process the trauma, leaving the memory without the horrible visceral feelings attached. I cannot recommend a smarter, funnier, helpful and just down right cool as hell therapist. She has a gift from God, and I am truly honored to have had her help me walk through my nightmare and turn it into my success story.
