I hired this company to cater my wedding. I had paid everything in full. the payment agreement was x amount per person. A few days before the wedding I had contacted the owner to make sure everything was good to go. Everything was all good. The day of the wedding I told the venue to add 2 more tables so people could be spread out. I was providing all the table cloths and decor and had extra so no big deal. The food was served buffet style so the plates were suppose to be up on the counter. Fast forward. We were on our honeymoon and I was checking the bank accounts and the caterer had charged me X amount of money. I emailed her and said what is this charge for everything was paid up front and she said I had too many people and there weren’t enough plates to set all the tables and That there 20 tables instead of 18. I emailed her back and asked her if she could refund me the money because the day of the wedding I decided to add two more tables so people could be spread out and the agreement was $ based on how many people and they charged me for how many chairs I had. She refused to refund the money. SO unprofessional. The food was great, too bad the owners don’t keep their word and charge you for whatever they want. She had kept my bank info from when I had paid in full. She did not invoice me or anything just charged my account. I am now fighting this with the bank and hopefully get my money back. Watch out they are snakes.
