Barry coordinated a major remodel of our backyard including pool resurface, retaining wall, patio and pavilion. He is an honest and straightforward professional who helped us visualize what we wanted and make it a reality. He supervised the project from beginning to end and made sure everything was done correctly. Highly recommended!

A+Pools did a fantastic job on our pool remodel. Barry kept us informed during the entire process. We replastered, new tile, new coping, put an overlay over old decking, and new masonry work. Turned out better than expected! A+Pools was very professional and do high quality work, would highly recommend.

Barry has been great throughout the entire process. Has been excellent with communication and transparency. I spoke with over 6 different pool companies and the majority were going to hand me off to a project manager. Barry is the guy you pay and the guy that is onsite during the process. He is absolutely not “Slick Rick the Sales Guy” but “Barry the Builder.” I learned a ton through this process and every time I had a question he would tell me, why we were doing it that way, or would say that he already noticed it and was addressing with the crew. Barry also coordinated not just the pool build, but the patio roof extension, outdoor heater installation and re-landscaping the backyard. I did not have to talk with any other contractors, just Barry. Was fair with the pricing leaving me feeling like the value was tremendous. Really a great experience. Here is the short version:
A+ Pools has earned it's name in all categories for my pool renovation:
Communication
Product/Procedure Knowledge
Price
Craftsmanship
Attention to Detail
Now for the long version:
From the very beginning the communication was clear, direct and accurate.
My wife and I made changes that required multiple quotes, they were all delivered in a timely manner and were accurate.
Once the project began I received daily texts letting me know what, if anything was scheduled for that day, so there were no surprises.
This one thing made me really happy and confident about my choice.
If I was told it would happen that day, it happened that day.
If it was to be rescheduled, I was informed and work was performed on the new date/time.
All subcontractors showed a high level of expertise, and they all seemed to go above and beyond to deliver the best product.
Even clean up was performed with a high level of care.
This was a large project, and when something did go wrong with subcontractors, it was remediated to my satisfaction immediately.
I believe you pretty much get what you pay for, and I certainly feel like I received value for my dollars spent.
Bottom line is this, if I had to do it all over again, I would and I would choose A+ Pools again.
I am 100% pleased with the results achieved through Barry and A+ Pools.

We hired Barry & A+ Pools to build our swimming pool last fall. This is our 4th swimming pool to build (first with this company) and our most successful project without any issues or delays. We were impressed by the work ethic of all the subcontractors and crews, who actually performed all of the work over the course of a few months. They carefully covered all areas to avoid unwanted dirt and materials and cleaned up after every visit. While the process is somewhat chaotic, it is necessary, and our result was just beautiful. We love the result.
Barry walks through every step and phase and is on the job overseeing daily. We highly recommend Barry & A+Pools, his company has already completed a pool for our friends, and they are just as happy. Thanks!!
