Panhandle Foundation Repair

We had a couple concerns regarding a couple of issues with the house settling. I had another company come out for assessment and was told that I would need a total of 5 piers, among other minor fixes. I called PF for for another opinion. PF provided a honest evaluation that differed substantially from from the first assessment. I even received some suggestions to prevent having to use any piers at this time. I want to thank Jarrod for his professionalism, courtesy and honesty. I would definitely recommend PF to anyone looking for foundation repair.

Called Panhandle Foundation Repair as we have several cracked tiles, cement, bricks and cracks coming off door frames. They called us back quickly, made appt, called today to verify appt and showed up right on time (we live outside of city limits so people often late). He measured all around the house (inside and out) and said it is within 1/2 inch over the whole house; nothing needed but cosmetic repairs which is common in the Texas Panhandle. Very pleased with every aspect of this appointment and he would not accept payment for evaluation/time. I must add, we used PFR about 20 years ago for our previous house in the Sleepy Hollow area when it had settled poorly. First requested service from one of the highly advertised competition who did not show up for appointment (I had to take off work to meet). When I called them the guy told us he was able to evaluate without even going into the house (or even in our back yard) and said we needed at least 10 piers. Doubting the estimate, we looked for an alternative and called PFR. He showed up on time, professional evaluation/estimate, hired for job, ended up using 3 piers, some kind of stabilizing float, did the job quickly and left absolutely no mess. What more can you ask for? I would recommend this company every day of the week (and have done so).

Called Panhandle Foundation 4 weeks ago, left a message. PF called back that same day, but got my voice mail, great right? Well, I returned the call the next day and again 3 more times within a 3 week period. I finally called a 4th time and got a call back and scheduled an appt to get the foundation looked at. PF came out, told use we needed to move our hot tub and when this was moved to call back to get the foreman to take a look and give us a quote. We move the tub and called PF. That was 10 days ago.. Still no phone call back....still waiting.... So if this is how they respond when I want to get a quote and give them money, I hate to see how long it would take for a response if there were problems with any work done by them. Went with Legacy Support group. Quote done without moving hot tub and work scheduled to be completed within two weeks. We will not recommend PF to anyone!

.As a contractor from California and now living in Amarillo, I can understand why someone didn't get back to you or failed to show up at your job. Some companies don't have a lot of people and they get busy really quick so you shouldn't take it personally or badmouth them and say they aren't reliable. This is also a perfect example of a bogus review, and yelp should be removing it because the contractor did not do any work for you.

Jarrod is an honest man and did not try to sell us on repairs that were not needed at this time. Will use him when the time comes.
