The service during our visit was excellent. They were genuinely friendly, knew the menu, and always there when we needed something. The food was very good, a little more authentic than some of the well known chains. Like most Tex-Mex these days they portions were huge. They offer some unique items. I tried the jalepeno vinaigrette and it was great, cilantro-ish heat. Give it a try.

The shrimp chile relleno with tomatillo sauce, pecans, and raisins I had was excellent. It was lightly breaded and not greasy at all. I usually avoid eating chile rellenos in restaurants because I have been served so many greasy, heavy ones. Everyone else at the table also thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Our server knew the menu very well and was attentive, prompt, and polite. The margarita on the rocks was satisfactory. A bit more flavor development would go a long way.

The first time I went I liked it, specifically the flautas. This time, I was not impressed! The flautas were made with corn tortillas this time, not flour......those are called taquitos. Then the tortillas were drenched in oil, that's all I could taste. The beans and rice were ok and the margarita was good. But my flautas were definitley not worth the $10 we paid for it.
