Update 04/11/2024: we have reached a settlement with Curl Construction and Excavation.
If I could give zero stars I would. We purchased a new construction Curl home in Aug '22. Within a week of moving in we started contacting them regarding paint and drywall issues. We were told to wait until our 1 year warranty but sent them photos of how bad it was. They sent the painter out who said it was the drywall sub. The drywall sub AND Blake, the building supervisor, came out and agreed the walls needed primer and 2 coats of paint to correct the issue. (No primer had been used and parts of the vaulted ceiling and shower stall ceiling had not even been given a second coat!) They put us off and put us off. The office staff (Stacie and Brianna) are of no help. Emails went unanswered for weeks. Excuses were given. Now, after 17 months, they are refusing to correct the problems except nail pops and cracks. We do NOT recommend this builder. Do your research. They have removed negative Facebook posts just today. Shameful business practices.

I owned a Curl build for 3 years and will NEVER consider another home built by them again. I sold it as soon as multiple houses in my county started burning to the ground back to back (all which are built by Curl, and have proven to be fires caused by electrical issues on behalf of the builder). I also had electrical issues (also proven to be caused by the builder directly, Curl Construction) that had to be fixed under the 1 year home warranty by the builder due to extremely poor workmanship. One is a coincidence, multiple burns in a row is a clear builder issue. Do yourself a favor, do some research, and run.

NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION. In my opinion, and my experience with Curl construction, Wartrace TN. is horrible, I have had homes built in the past and NEVER had the Building Quality issues as I have experienced with Curl Construction.
To add insult to the Home/Building Quality is the serious lack of communication of any kind from their warranty department. When a person does come on the line, it is excuses as to why they can't do the repairs without being months out. I did do my research and at the time Curl was a very new company to the area of New Home Construction. Information was limited at best. Do your research on this company. Buyer Beware.
