I do NOT recommend this gym! I was a member of this gym over 20 years ago when it use to be Harvey's, and it was a great place. Over the years the gym has apparently been through several different owners and management? I rejoined the gym last year and to my surprise, much of the equipment was the same as it was back then. The gym has fallen into decline and neglect, lots of the equipment is broken down and/or missing parts. They have 3 tanning beds and I only ever saw 2 work, and now only 1 is working. Over the last couple months they went into new management again. This time they are undergoing huge renovations which is greatly needed. However, the updates they are doing seem to have their priorities out of order. The overhead lights, only about half of them work or is broken, and the old tanning beds are still not been fixed or update. Instead of doing small renovations in stages and focusing on important improvements, they came in like a wrecking ball tearing out walls, moving equipment around and painting walls. The gym stayed dirty and cluttered for a long time, bathrooms and showers where partially operational and only a few updates where made. The "24 hour access" system, is the same system that was used way back under Harvey's Gym, it is way out dated but still works ok nonetheless. Their membership fees are way more costly than Planet Fitness. The new manager was rude to me and not very friendly. If you want to join this gym, good luck on someone answering the phone or actually being present during the day. I would consider going back to this gym if it get's it's act together. As it currently is I do not see this gym surviving.

Its become more about broken down machines, bad fluorescent lighting, and poorly prioritized changes. I can get behind renovations but try to make sure people can continue to workout while renovating. Some of these machines have been out of commission for at least 2 months.

So I canceled my membership about a month ago and still came out of my bank account still have not received my refund yet and I contacted them multiple times getting fed up.....
