This place is a joke. I wouldnt hire them to take care of a snake. My mother is only on home health for 1 month to take IV antibiotics, they are not seeing her daily as prescribed by the Dr. The nurse called her and told her that seeing as she (my mom) is a former nurse, that she can administer her meds by herself and she might check on her later.

This agency is Top Knotch! Professional. Reliable. Dependable. They care for my mother in Shelbyville, caregiver goes beyond just providing care for my mom. Great companion, I always get an answer to a phone call. I just cant enough good about this agency. They are 5 Star in my opinion and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone seeking home care for a parent or family member. They truly care for their patients and the patients family. Great caring people. Highly recommended by my phyicians office.

Suncrest home health of Shelbyville took excellent care of my grandfather up until he needed hospice care and even then they helped make that transition easier for my whole family. The nursing and therapy staff go above and beyond to provide the best care they can for the patient! ☺️

Administrator did not research an accusation delivered to them. Administrator stated my medical condition didn't warrant services based off no facts. After being provided Home Health services through Physical Therapy my Primary Doctor and Surgeons recommended Home Health Nurse (Wound Nurse) care. An assessment was performed at the on start of services expressing the best times for services to be perform which was a 2 hour window and this was mutually agreed upon. After the nurses were brought into the picture suddenly I received a notice of being discharge because I was no longer flexible and not considered homebound. Nothing in my status had change and I contacted my Case Worker from my Insurance Provider to see if they were having any issues. Our Provider confirmed there were no issues except them not receiving the order/clinical request from Suncrest. Once I had the opportunity to speak with the Administrator from the Nurse Phone sent to discharge me I asked for details. I was told the following: If my people want to be home by 1, they should not have to wait to see you later (regardless of my work from home schedule and also not regarding the previously establish schedule). Furthermore stating they had a blown out knee and were able to get out to therapy and they just don't believe you need home health (this is unprofessional and again is not getting the facts as I have an extensive list of conditions from the result of a car accident where I was hit head on my an impaired driver. I'm still learning to walk, have drains, wounds, cracked hip socket, sternum, swelling, knee injuries, crushed heel and more). Also was told their services provided to me was a favor since they heard I couldn't afford outpatient therapy (as stated before there was an assessment, and another reassessment both of which I qualified for services and then suddenly I no longer do). Customer Service was not provided and this approach to problem or case resolution is poor. Training needs to be provided and facts should be presented before judgment and services are ordered. Please Train Your Administrator on proper resolution and communication with Patients. Having facts in place and having a conversation with the proper parties before sending out someone to discharge/end services is crucial. The Administrator should know the agreements that were in place before coming to conclusions and should never downgrade some ones medical condition/circumstance.
