Awesome people to work with selling an amazing product. They went above and beyond helping me to get every part exactly right. With my new 6-speed my 1965 Mustang is a dream to drive. Having 4.57 gears in a street car, the T56 Magnum lets me have my cake and eat it too. Truly the best of both worlds with my freeway RPMs only around 2400. I will buy from SST again !

After deciding to install a TREMEC TKO in my project car I reached out to Silver Sport for their guidance on which system would work best. I spoke with Gene Charsha who helped me determine the correct setup and shipped the product promptly. The Transmission arrived and there were no issues whatsoever with the install. Everything shipped fit perfectly. More importantly Gene and Silver Sport were there after the sale as well. During the install some parts were damaged (user error) and Gene responded quickly getting me replacement parts shipped next day. If I ever order another transmission I will not go anywhere else. Absolutely Fantastic! I purchased TKO-500 kit for my Mopar literally years after purchasing my transmission, i finally got around to installing it, SST had no problem at all in sourcing the custom fit driveshaft, clarification on the U-joint size and measurement accuracy requirements. They even sent a follow up asking how everything was going and if i was ready for the drive shaft. I was also contacted a few years after purchase (prior to install) to let me know they had applied a discount to the purchase but hadn't flowed out the refund to me yet and wanted to let me know it was on the way. i would have never known anything was amiss. Very honorable and excellent business to make sure all loose ends are tied. It's the little things that really make a good purchase! As for fitment of the kit, the transmission bolted right in, the template cover-plate wasn't exactly the best fit, but no complaints there considering the car wasn't in the best of shape to compare. I did find myself with the shifter not fitting correctly but it was of my own error. I ended up custom making an adapter to shift the mount further aft to match the console. Calling up tech support I realized I completely forgot to include that the car had a console in the initial purchase and sure enough SST has an adapter that is identical to what I custom made. Great minds think alike eh? For those who buy the TKO-500, note it uses a ford 25 spline disc on the clutch. normal mopar clutch won't fit the spline. No regrets on this purchase, I wish i could afford another car so i could buy another transmission from SST. Excellent business!

Ordered a tko600 transmission kit from ohio speed shop which is a great shop! Everything came as it should with everything. Install time. Get it all together, no matter how I shimmed the starter it wouldn't engage. Pull everything back apart, chuck from ohio speed shop sends me a factory gm flywheel. Put it all back together and everything was perfect. Drove the car 6 times and then the throw out bearing went bad (howl when you let out on the clutch). $20 part no big deal. Put it back together once again and it was fine. Pulled the car out yesterday and now the clutch is shot. Car doesn't move at all. Called silver sport transmission and they said in a few days out of warranty. Best they could do is 25% off a new clutch. Why would I buy another product from them when 3 out of 5 parts they supplied have broke? Not a good experience at all. I am selling this transmission setup and never buying another product from them again. Very poor quality parts!!! Save yourself the headache amd buy quality parts. What a waste of $4,000. Not impressed with this company one bit.
