If I could give zero stars, truly I would. I made my first prenatal appointment with this group after serval recommendations as they are supposedly vbac friendly. I walked into my appointment, the ultrasound techs personality was cold and the ultrasound was the quickest Ive ever had and Ive been through this many times as I am pregnant with my 4th child. I thought it was strange no one checked my urine or did any lab work after my vitals were checked. I go back to the room to wait on the midwife and my husband and I waited 45 minutes on her and there was only one other person in the waiting area with me. The midwife asks me questions and I could tell something was off as she wasnt listening to my concerns or prior history. She then informs me that they cannot take me as a patient as my BMI is over their limit so they refused me care. They said they would refer me to high risk OB at UT due to my BMI. I was so taken back. I have had zero complications with my previous pregnancies and deliveries, and I have no comorbidities due to being overweight. Ive birth 3 children and my weight has never been an issue or put me in a high risk category. Every hospital should accommodate everyone regardless of their size. I drove an hour for this appointment, paid for child care, and my husband took the day off from work unpaid for it to be a complete waste of time. I would say thats something they need to be forthcoming about, but it would be discriminatory and they know that. Also, I requested my medical records be faxed to a new facility on Friday of last week and I followed up with them today, a week later and it had still not been done. I spoke with someone at Tennova again about faxing my records since they declined me care, and she got it done today. Clearly they forgot to do it. Had I not followed up with them, it wouldnt have been done. I wouldnt recommend this facility. Finding quality healthcare as a pregnant woman, as a woman in general nonetheless should not be this difficult! Just editing my review to say its gotten even worse! I received 2 bills in total for 688$. They didnt bill my new insurance on file. This place amazes me at how absolutely terrible they are!

My wife has been having a lot of issues and currently was going there she never got test results by phone or in person she has to rely on a patient portal to get results or to communicate with anyone . Recently she had an important scan n had to obtain her own records to see the results and its been months and still hasnt heard from her provider and it was abnormal! Needless to say she will be getting another Doctor some where else who cares more then this !

Every place has their pros and cons. I stayed more on the midwifery side and wish I hadn't. The midwives are great but my case was a little complex and I think I'd have been better served on the OB side. Wait times on the OB side can be awful. My 1st appointment was 3 hours and I only seen the doctor for a few mins. I spent most of that time waiting for them. Granted, I do think they hired more people since early last year. Pros- people are nice, parking is convenient, L&D was ok, close to everything Cons- wait times, having to request apts later in pregnancy, some response times, if you got pregnant via HRT they'll blow your pregnancy out of proportion and throw in all the extras (though some may see this as a pro), billing is awful so know your policy and coverage because you will absolutely need to advocate for yourself. Would only recommend to someone who has had a naturally occurring pregnancy that wants a more holistic approach to care and delivery with some failover.
