Eastern Fly Outfitters

My brother and I traveled from North Carolina to fish the Wataga this week. We knew very little about the area when my brother located eastern fly outfitters online. He was able to contact Ben, Ben was extremely helpful and helping us with information at where to fish, went to fish and what to use for the area. We had an incredible day on the water after stopping in the fly shop and picking up some gear and meeting Ben. We are very grateful for his information that he was more than willing to share and look forward to going back in the near future.

My experience was a ZERO! Booked private wade 45 days in advance and was told several times by Ben that the trip was on the calendar. Two weeks out I call to confirm and was told the guide was booked for that day. Friends that I invited were driving 8 hours to have a great experience. Then Ben throws the guide under the bus! Would not trust them to deliver on any committments!

Booked a trip, the guide never showed and the owner will not refund my deposit. Highly unethical, there are much better options than dealing with these criminals. Beware.

So glad we found Ben and Eastern Fly Outfitters during a recent trip to TN! Not only is Ben very knowledgeable, but hes extremely patient and was super helpful w/my husband and son who are novice fly fisherman. Thanks Ben for all you do! You helped make this a trip of a lifetime full of lots of great memories. I cant say enough good and am very grateful!
