Nama Sushi Bar

Updating a year later: every time I have been here it has been great. Sushi is always good, it does get slow on half priced sushi nights but that is to be expected and it's worth the wait. Staff has always been nice and friendly to me and I have never had a bad experience here. My go to Thursday night spot. The best time to go is Thursday night when you can get half priced rolls on a select few. The place is great and the sushi is even better.

We came here twice during our stay nearby & had the pork potstickers & a sushi roll with specialty cocktails blueberry something & another cucumber something, I believe?? Lol So good!

Lovely Atmosphere, a bit chilly when empty, and great service! The sushi selection was amazing and the Tonkatsu Burger was a refreshing twist. One of our sushi rolls had some hair on it and the staff remade it promptly. It happens every now and again so super understanding, the manager was extremely nice and gave both me and my wife a 5$ redeemable "gift card" for our next visit. If you like sushi this is an outstanding place to grab some!

I cannot say enough about Nama sushi. I came to Nashville for cancer therapy and a stem cell transplant - and couldn’t leave the apartment for 2 months due to no immune system. When I was released to go to a restaurant for the first time I went to Nama. They kindly cleaned the table for me the. Went I to the back and cleaned a special work area to prep my food so u would be safe. I almost cried. The food was delicious and fresh. And safe for this immune compromised person. I felt honored and happy. Thank you for the extra attention. So important at that time.
