I have a new puppy and I called on a Sunday to see if they were open. Whoever answered was very rude and hung up in my face.

I have 2 westies. One is 1 1/2 years the other 9. Jeanette did a good job on my younger one so I didn’t check my older dog when she was done. When she was done I said I need two more dates for October and December. She said “why don’t you text me the dates and we’ll go from there”. I texted her the dates right away. She did not reply. That night my poor older dog (Audrey) was licking herself a lot. When she got up off of her pillow there was blood. She had such bad razor burn on her chest that she was bleeding from it. After looking her over she had severe razor burn on her feet, chest, tail, under her front legs and stomach. And her sides were so uneven it was laughable. I was so mad! Luckily I had correct meds to treat. I tried calling and texting Jeanette. I didn’t tell her why but she didn’t reply for 3 days. I texted her again and asked what happened to Audrey? I heard Nothing. I told her to take me off her client list and she finally replied “ who is this”. I told her what had happened and she said she “felt so bad that THEY had done that to her” and that was caused by dull, hot blades. Then she recommended another mobile groomer. I told her that SHE had done that. I did not hear back. She was either lying or really had no idea who I was. I used her because she was inexpensive for a mobile groomer but you get what you pay for! If I had not been a vet tech before I would have also had a vet bill to pay. There is something wrong with this lady. Do not use her!

I had used this service several times and had been extremely happy. Great prices, great quality of grooming, and I was even looking into other services such as de-shedding for one of my other dogs. On my last grooming it had been about 3 months (covid had hit me financially and I had been unable to afford it) Jannete came out to groom my Shitzu. She was matted and I will be the first to admit that, but if it is something you feel you cannot do then say so. My dog was cut during the process of the grooming, I feel like this happens, and Jannete didn't charge me for the grooming. Hey thanks that's great. Problem is a $60-70 grooming does not come anywhere close to covering a $233 vet bill. When I sent the bill and asked how she would like to take care of the bill she said I had to take some responsibility for my dog being so matted and the bill was paid in full seeing as how she did not charge me. I would have been happy with a discount for future services on the de-shedding, instead I am taking her to small claims court. I do not feel she handled this in a professional manner and I no longer recommend her at all.
