Highland Hills Apartments

My townhome is spacious and affordable and somewhat cute despite the outdated appliances. But, in my opinion, that means nothing if it is roach infested. My first day in the place, I was greeted with 3 different kinds of roaches and all of their relatives. The apartment was not thoroughly cleaned prior to supplying me with a key. So many of the previous tenants items were in the cabinets from used eyelash extensions to hair to Nair bottles to bank statements to RAW ONION laying in the drawers! But what makes this worse is the fact that the workers spray painted right over the papers and items left over. That’s called LAZY and UNPROFESSIONAL. Also, I’ve been here for a month and 3 doors in the apartment still have not been installed. A very lousy paint job was done, the thermostat does not work properly and the windows are moldy and some don’t work. To top it all off- the neighborhood is iffy. There is a repaired bullet hole in our front door🤦🏾‍♀️. Believe it or not there is more things that I can say but this review has gotten entirely too long for my eyes. If you consider this livable, then you’ve found a home!

Property does not care about tenants. After six months of residing, the maintenance apartment building caught fire and ultimately damaged my entire unit. My family lost everything. The fireman were wonderful in saving everything they could. The night of the incident management allowed me to store property in their model unit. However, with no place for items and no new residence the apartments informed me that they needed what I salvaged out of their model unit. They were quick to place my family in a unit that was not fit to live in. A unit that was damaged by a previous tenant. After reporting the smell that seemed to be of a human being using the apartment as their personal restroom and it was unfit to live in, I was told they had freshener spray and I should clean things up immediately. Forced to move in or technically be homeless my family had no choice but to survive during a pandemic and troubling times. I would not recommend these apartments to Anyone! Reside somewhere where the property genuinely cares about your family and not just a dollar.

Lived there for 5 years nice place to live very family and working class friendly very spacious and clean gigantic size patios across street from Wal-Mart grocery and fast food places right at your door
