The Ellington at Kirby Apartment Homes

I have been here now 5 yrs and although parking is limited, I believe this alone deters hangouts and possibly even some crime. Maintenance is very quick at resolving any issue you may have. Staff is very friendly.

EDIT TO ADD: The owners of this complex ended up reaching out to us and hopefully fixed the issue and helped with the overages on our electric account! They did this really quick too! I’m happy with the way that MRG handled things! So changing the review to 3 stars! Thank you to Nikki at MRG for being really great and sweet! I am giving this complex a 1 star. I am doing this because of they have ignored major issues within our unit. We have had electric bills of $350 and $406 the last two months. I called and called and called the first month to try and get ahold of them and no one ever answered the phone and I also sent an email the first month as well. So I went ahead and paid that bill in full. This month I called and they “took a message” and would “call me back” I haven’t heard a thing. I also sent them a detailed message of what MLGW stated the issue was and that the complex had a responsibility of getting that issue resolved. They haven’t responded to me. We are very close to taking LEGAL ACTIONS against this complex for not upholding the city requirements that are in place! I will be writing reviews on all the apartment listing websites as well as their own website. Now, with all that being said this complex is not horrible to live in. It’s quiet, the insides are ehh okay for the price and really spacious! We really have no other complaints other than this and the other maintenance requests we’ve had to put in, in less than a year. There definitely could be some improvements on the insides of these to make them a really really good complex. I hope they fix this issue or we will be taking legal actions and moving out

Ms.Selina is so sweet and very professional, she is my reason for renewing my lease a 2nd time.Courtesy officer is a resident,maintenance is on point, very quiet ;I love Everything about my apartment. I just hate that because of an Water issue, w/administration they plan on going up on the rent again...I'M OUTTA HERE 2nd time going up on the rent $709 to $750 & I'm almost certain I will be paying $800 this time around.I will not renew, I will rent a house because I plan on bmpurchasing a Home May 2021.
