I'm glad other people are happy with this place because as far as we're concerned, it's an expensive joke. When we needed a new kitchen faucet, we decided we may as well replace the original sink we'd despised for years. We decided to shop locally and avoid the big box stores. Don's staff brought out a nice shiny sink with the box, representing that they had just opened it up to show it to us. Darling Bride liked it; we bought the sink and a nice faucet. On the appointed morning of install, all went well until the plumbers asked, "where's the hardware for the sink?" Hardware? Yep, little retainer clips & screws in a bag. None were in the box! I called Don's and had to run out & get a spare bag of sink hardware and rush back while the plumbers waited (on the clock). When I got back, it was the wrong hardware and not compatible! Another frantic call to Don's and I was told they didn't see any other bags of clips in the back. The plumbers pointed out the water damage on the box's bottom and told me the sink was probably an open-box return: they had brought the box out front already open, and the lack of any hardware in it reinforced the idea. Since Don's didn't have the hardware, the plumbers had to return on a second service call the next morning, bringing the proper hardware, to finish the job. So a simple installation that SHOULD have cost us $165 ended up costing $332... including $167 for the second visit and the hardware, neither of which should have been necessary! Thanks, Don's! When I brought up our extreme disappointment with the staff, their reply was "well, we gave you a really good price on the sink..." They should have, since it was likely a return and installation cost more than the sink did! Like I said: I'm glad so many people are happy with Don's. They won't miss us when we don't go back.
