First beer frozen, yeast bread from Wal-Mart, warm Cesar salad, brown lettuce, hot bowl, both steaks, one medium well, one medium rare both medium cooked, dried out, not a drop of juice on plate, chewy, jaws tired, on a good note baked potatoes were awesome, 65$ pls tip Holy @$&!#. Don't do it. Cherokee steak house much better. Or still stay home. No idea where reviews come from, I'm dumb founded.

We came in with a group of seven late. We did not feel rushed. We were welcomed. Food was delicious and fresh and served in a timely manner. Our server was fast and efficient kind and courteous.

We are new to the area and were looking for a place to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We asked around and received a variety of suggestions, but had driven by Woody's a few times when we were out. It's a plain looking old white house right on main street and family owned. We wanted a place to get a good meal that wasn't a loud chain restaurant like Logan's, but we really didn't want to go downtown and pay a fortune for the atmosphere of a Jimmy Kelly's. We made a reservation for a quiet table at Woody's for Wednesday evening. We are SO HAPPY we did! They have a special on Wednesdays: 2 filet mignons, 2 baked potatoes, and 2 salads for $30! Everything was awesome. The waiter - Chuck - was friendly, attentive, and prompt. There was piano music in another room in the back of the restaurant that we could hear, but it wasn't loud. And the meal! WOW!! We both received 6-8 oz filets that were perfectly done and delicious! The salad and potatoes were both very good sized and we were served plenty of warm bread with butter. We ordered the raspberry cheesecake for desert. Excellent choice! We are so happy we chose Woody's for this very special occasion, and we will DEFINITELY be back!!!
