I used to like this store because of convenience and it carries exactly the brand and size dog food I buy. But I've just made my last visit.
I took my bag of dog food to the checkout counter. Nobody there. Looked around the store. Nobody there. I went in the back room and found two sour puss employees chatting. I asked if one of them would please ring up a sale. One young lady with bright blue hair and a ring in her nose grunted, rolled her eyes, and said that she would.
This store has two registers. One had a big sign that read, "Next Register Please". I had left the bag of dog food next to the "open" register. So, naturally, the employee said that she would ring me up on the "closed" register. I asked why that was as I schlepped the bag down the counter. Her exasperated answer was that she didn't know and that someone else was supposed to be working the register.
By the end of the transaction, I told the cashier that she made me feel like I was a bother and that I didn't feel welcome in the store. Her response? "Have a nice day."
Last time I checked, there was a big box pet supply on every corner in this town, not to mention the mail order places. I don't need grief like this. I will shop elsewhere.

I like this pet store because they carry a variety of organic pet foods that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. And it's small and convenient.

Loved this place! The animals were well cared for. The staff very helpful. Can't wait to go back!
