    I love Foot Rx in Johnson City! The staff understands what you want in a shoe and what you want it for. The feel of the store is great too, with a 10 ft salt water aquarium. My kids love going to watch the fish and we can shop for shoes without stress. They carry great quality brands, friendly staff, and can order you any pair of shoes fast. I tell everyone about the store even if it is just to look at the fish lol.

    I am currently living out of the country and unable to participate in any of the many activities sponsored by Foot RX. I am also not able to shop frequently in the store, but that does not stop Steve or Allison Pastorek from always taking that extra step to take care of me as a customer. They are always avaiable to answer questions, offer wanted opinions, and give suggestions. I call or email ahead of time and my preferred running shoe is available when I return to the country. Thank you Steve and Allison. You are greatly appreciated.

    So a friend of mine told me about Foot Rx.  I am a supporter of local business and wanted to see what they offered.  I stopped by to order running shoes Mid January.   When I walked into the store, no one greeted me, which was a little odd. I went on to try on shoes and found one that I like but that they didn't have in my size.  They offered to order it.  I went ahead and paid and ordered my shoes.  I don't mind waiting.  They told me it would be in in 1-2 weeks.  I came back two weeks later and it still wasn't in.  All they said was that the "shipment hadn't arrived and that they would ask the owner."  They already had my phone number, so i assumed I would be called if there was an issue.  I was patient as I understand that things happen.  I stopped by after three weeks and the shoes still weren't in.  They gave me the "backorder" statement again.  That is ok, but as a local business you need to take care of your customers.  I don't care that there is a problem but you need to call and let the individual know and offer them another shoe.  I was so upset with my experience that I got my refund and will never recommend this store to anyone.  A loyal customer will pay more and wait a little longer if you treat them right.  This store, however did not.  They will never receive my business again.
