Was an absolutely amazing class. Was very informative and detailed instruction. Came home with 100% more confidence in not only how but also when to use my side arm. Can’t wait to go back!!

I just finished the 2 day Rifleman 1 course. It was taught by Reid and his assistant instructor Rachel. The course started out with the most basic module, gun safety and built from there. We went on to proper load and unload sequence, zeroing the rifle, fundamentals of marksmanship, by the end of the course we were reliably hitting targets out to 300 yards and clearing rooms with proper threat identification. I cannot stress enough how absolutely professional and patient the instruction was. The instructors went up and down the line addressing each student and making adjustments as needed. Safety was paramount and no one was ever rushed. The training enviroment was built on modules, where every subsequent module incorporated the previous one giving the students a very high degree of confidence in their abilities. I trained along side police officers, ex military, and civilians, and everyone expressed how much they learned. I recommend Valor Ridge for any and all firearms training. I will be sighning up for my next class, Pistolcraft, and cannot wait to get back on the Ridge. Thank you Reid and Rachel for your expertise, and your patience. Best, DK

First class I've ever taken, and already feel like it will be hard to top. Reid and his instructors are so helpful and give everyone the attention they need. You can tell Reid genuinely cares about teaching others. Id highly recommend going to his classes. My friends and I will be back for more in the near future.

Outstanding. My expectations were high to begin with and this experience went above and beyond what I was expecting. Meeting Reid was a honor and having Reid and his staff teach me will be something I will never forget

Just experienced my first training. It was better then I imagined, Reid is TOP notch! He helped me understand the mechanics of shot placement, taking the slack out of the trigger, and breathing technics to get a tight group of shots using the top front sights. Reid and his assistant Dillion showed me ways on how to come off a corner at the shoot-house. However, the best part for me was after class; Reid took the time to talk to the class about history and life in general. Reid uses every moment as a teaching moment. I highly recommend this class to anyone who owns a firearm. I will be coming back and this time I will bring my wife. Yes, the class is female friendly.
