        Stayed at the General Morgan Inn for an overnight stop while driving to the University of Alabama. The hotel is very nicely preserved in a way that balances its historical beauty with modern amenities. Striking lobby with inviting fireplace. Rooms and baths are large with 10 foot ceilings. The Brumley restaurant, accessible through the lobby, includes a bar and serves delicious meals at reasonable prices. (Try the braised pork shank.). Guests are provided a breakfast voucher at the Catalyst Coffee Company next door. Wish we had a bit more time to see the rest of Greeneville, but the General Morgan alone is worth a visit.
