For everyone that has Dr James Johnson as their primary care provider you already know how friendly and helpful they are at this Dr's office. This is for the people that are looking for another primary physician or have relocated to Crossville and don't have a primary doctor yet.
I hurt my back this weekend and came to the conclusion this morning that I needed to see my family doctor, Johnson Family Medicine at 4147 Highway 127 N Ste 102 and get some help. I arrived around 8:30 am, unannounced and without an appointment. I was prepared to spend the day in the waiting room of the office until they could fit me in, well that didn't happen! By 9:00am P.A. Rebecca was examining me and making her assessment of my situation. Her compassion and empathy were so very much appreciated. By 9:30am I had received 2 shots and a MRI order at the Out Patient office in our great Crossville hospital. Rebecca, called in prescriptions and I was able to pick them up and be back home by 11:00 am. This is yet another example of the great medical personnel that the residents of Cumberland County have access to and
we are all blessed to be a part of this great community.

I am very slow to post my opinion on the web, because I am a private person, however, after more than 20 years of dedicated service to me and my family, I think it's time I share how wonderful Dr. Johnson and his staff really are. Dr. Johnson and his staff are not like a normal doctor's office. If you are wanting to be in and out and see the shirttail of your doctor, this is not the office for you. He actually sits down in front of the computer and goes over the information that his wonderful nurse, Bonnie, has put in the computer. That's right, he sits down and talks to you! He doesn't assume anything. He listens to you! The compassion and understanding displayed on in his face and heard in his voice is not something you can fake or learn, it's just there, because he's a great human. If you have to wait to see him, remember, there's a reason. He could be tending to an emergency that supersedes your condition, a young child took more of his time, or there was an elderly person that just wasn't moving fast that day. Whatever the issue, Dr. Johnson is going to give each person the time they need and deserve. Remember when it's your turn, you will want the same time that was given to the person in front of you. I assure you, if you were the emergency, others would be waiting to see him, not you. God places people like Dr. Johnson and the rest of his staff on earth to take care of us that need help when we are not well. So, thank you Dr. Johnson and everyone in his building for taking care of me and my family for all these years. The dedication and love has not gone unnoticed.

I love Dr. Johnson! He listens to what you have to say and to any concerns. I really like they have on call after hours. I've used that multiple times!
