Martha is amazing! we needed extra towels one time for some guests on a Sunday, and she was there! Need magic marker removed from a wood floor? Martha can do it! Need hard evidence that a guest broke house rules? Martha had photos! The MountainClean Team has shown up for every appointment! So glad we found them to clean our vacation rental in North Georgia. We had a cleaning company clean our cabin for years and had all 5 star reviews. That company sold and they no longer worked with vacation rentals. After much research we chose The Mountain Clean Team. Things went well for a few months but then started going downhill very quickly. Guest after guest complained of the cleanliness of our cabin. We were know for how pristine our cabin was. Dirty floors, dirty bathroom, dirty diaper left behind. Repeat guests who had stayed with us for years were calling me telling me I would be very upset with the cleanliness. Busy summer season or not, I believe our cabin should have been kept in much better shape. Things were broken and we were never made aware which caused us to eat the cost of the damage (for example door off the hinges, the front porch rail was knocked down). I don’t expect the cleaning company to catch everything, but major things I would have liked reported. One guest reported a rather strange man cleaning upon their arrival. Said he was cleaning floors indoors with the hot tub brush. When I mentioned this to Martha she said there should not have been a man there. But later explained it was probably her regular cleaners boyfriend or husband. Our owners closet was kept unlocked causing hundreds of dollars of supplies to “walk off”. We had 2 propane tanks for our grill. Often times they were left empty or never returned so guests were not able to grill. This was a task the company agreed to tend to when we hired them. When I brought all of these concerns to the owners attention she told me “when I see I’m not making a client happy, it’s time to move on”. In my business, if I’m not making a client happy I assess what they are telling me and fix the problem.

We have had a short term rental for over 10 years and moved this spring to The Mountain Clean Team. They have done an outstanding job having the cabin ready for our renters. They use a very turnkey approach and can pull our calendar weekly to schedule the cleanings. Martha is always very responsive to any question via email. They do a great job of making cabin cleaning one less thing that you have to worry about with your renters. Service: Standard clean
