I made some bad choices in my life and ended up in Prison for 9 years child support charged me $400 a month while incarcerated now Im $45000 in arrears with them. How is anyone going to pay $400 a month when they r in prison

Okay so let me start by saying before applying for child support services to help me establish a support order for my two children that I full-time with no parenting time for the absent father I was receiving $150 a week voluntarily however after applying for child support through Tennessee and going through Interstate division because the father resides in Indiana I was awarded $43 per child a week totaling $86 if the order stated both children however the father's home state Indiana did not set a order for my oldest child and for some reason Cleveland Tennessee child support office did not do anything whatsoever to fight for my children so I opted to close the case wait a year seeing how the father does not visit his children whatsoever by his choice but then file through the courts to involuntarily terminate his parental rights and before anyone gets on a high horse thinking that I'm a bad person or just a money hungry mom fact is the father owes for the oldest child three and a half years of of back child support after abandoning me his wife at the time and his 3-month-old baby girl at the time in Texas ran and ran back to Indiana where he established and provided support for his oldest son from a previous relationship but only helped one time with paying for a box of diapers for our daughter leaving me to raise and support our children out of spite and pettiness so me waiting a year supporting my children alone with no financial help raising two children one of which who is disabled so I don't feel as though I owe their father even a courtesy spit at this point but wouldn't get hopes high for help unless absentee parent is in state of tennessee
