Tried this place after reading all the great reviews. I got a Groupon deal, so tried it out with my daughter. Neither of us cared for the food. The lady there was very friendly and the desserts looked great though we didn't get to try them. We have eaten at the Gherst Haus in Nashville several times and expected the same kind of food. NOT. I had the Schnitzel and I can't say that it was good. We didn't care for anything we ate, and I let the second Groupon expire. We won't be back.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but we came here, after mixed reviews from our friends so we can decide on our own, and we were pleasantly surprised. The schnitzel was a little dark but very flavorful and not dried out like some other places we have tried. The fries (fresh potato chips) were, well fresh and delicious. The potato salad was a little overpowering for my taste but it was still pretty tasty. So overall, the service was great and the food was flavorful, and I'm glad we gave this place a shot.
