Selections are good for the buyer (some pieces are a little on the pricey side for used clothing, despite the brand), but as a seller unless you are the type who buys clothing with plans to wear it a time or two then sell it and move on within 6 months or so, go in with low expectations. I live about an hour from the store and patiently waited until I had other business in the area to take a very large basket full of clothing in (approx 60 pieces) and boy am I glad I didn't waste time or gas on a special trip. I had several items that I though would be good sellers (The North Face, never worn and Simply Southern shirts with tags intact, for example) and out of the 60 pieces they only found one item they wanted to make an offer on. If you enjoy shopping here, don't shun the Salvation Army. You may have to do some digging but my favorite Talbot dress came from the store with tag intact for 4.99 along with several pairs of my jeans and I'm very pleased with the quality of everything (and just for the record, no I wasn't trying to pass off Salvation Army treasures at this store....my Mom is a shopaholic and my family of 4 gets tons of brand new clothes every Christmas as well).

Took in new clothes with tags from Avenue. Cato. Etc. They would not take. Didnt think they would sell. Seriously brand new denim won't sell.

They do not pay very much for name brands ..the items I have taken in before looks alot better than what they are selling. I believe it depends on who is buying that day.
