The name Blue Light should be plural as its mismanagement has consistently called for Police intervention. Blue Light(s) has made the surrounding area an unsafe place to visit. I have been here once and that was enough. The staff I interacted with could definitely use some service retraining. There are much better places in Chattanooga for overly loud music and overpriced drinks that don't require immersion into a warzone or a VIP section that smells like a MARTA urinal. Blue Light has endangered Station Street's freedom as one of the three open container streets in Tennessee. Sure one can argue that it could be attributed to the bar's patrons. A bar is ultimately accountable if it gains a reputation for recklessness; there is no John Dalton to keep the peace. The publicly facing owner/partner, Bryan Joyce, does not appear to take responsibility for his joint and the affect that it has had on the surrounding neighborhood. According to news reports, his responses to the bar's dangerous incidents are empty excuses absent of any true culpability or remorse. The lack of accountability is comical. This club appears to be run by Loki; as chaos is the norm. I would stay far away if you value your safety even in the slightest. As a local native, I feel truly sorry for Station Street. It sucks that careless cokehead capitalism could ruin the closest thing Chattanooga had to a Bourbon Street. I only hope the Landlord or the City finally steps in to shut this place down for good.

Update review: this is a great place to go dancing with friends. The security guy who I had a bad experience with when this club first open I believe was fired or left. WORST experience ever!!! This dude was so racist and rude I have no words. (The white guy) He needs to be fired! So power hungry. Never in my life have I experienced such bad service. We waited in line for an hour or so. He allowed people to cut in front of us. Im not sure his name but someone help a sister out.

Never been there, but seems to be a place of violence and where the staff and owner are rude and unprofessional. Thanks to the reviews I will stay away from this place. I read reviews for 30 minutes.
