I love my doc and I've been going here for more than five years, but I'm finally considering changing. Patient/customer service has been lacking of late from the front. Hold times upon first call have gotten long, and there's apparently poor communication with the back of the house. More than once my drugs got sent to the wrong pharmacy (and after repeated assurances they'd been updated), and some prescriptions didn't make it to the pharmacy at all. All told, upon my last visit, it took four days to get my medications, and that's after repeated calls to straighten out the problem. There seems to be a lack of care from the check-in desk generally. They just seem apathetic. Again, the doc is wonderful. Communication and patient/customer service has gotten rough. I'm not one to write reviews, but I hope someone reads this and takes a look.

The service at BEFM is very good. I especially appreciate that the time of appointment is kept reasonably close with minimal waiting to be called in. I also appreciate Dr. Ducey's approach of focusing on the key issues that affect my health and well being. While I don't follow his advice carefully, it is nonetheless appropriate for my age and condition.
